You are invited to register for the Society for Text & Discourse's Thirty-Sixth Annual Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina from July 29-31, 2026. The conference will be held at the Dubois Center at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
Instructions
To register, click the register button at the bottom left of the conference registration page to initiate the process. Members of ST&D should first login to their account before registering. To join ST&D as a member and receive preferential registration rates, visit https://societyfortextanddiscourse.wildapricot.org/ prior to registering.
Remote Attendance: You have the option to register for remote attendance. Remote attendance will include access to submit, view, and comment on other remote presentations, and to access Zoom streaming and recordings of presentations from the conference. Please note that if your submission has been accepted for an in-person spoken or poster session, at least one author must attend in person.
Payment Methods: Credit card payments are accepted through PayPal. If your country/bank does not allow paypal payments, please contact ST&D treasurer Emily Smith (esmith@siena.edu)

Optional Inclusions (choose after your registration type)
Thursday Dinner (add-on): A social dinner will be held on Thursday evening after the poster session. More details on location will follow. The cost for attendees is $50.
Session Chair (volunteer): Regular (non-student) members of ST&D interested in volunteering to chair a session will have an option to include their name for consideration.
